B+G's springs are TUV and 9002 certified by being cold wound with Wafios CNC coilers and their heating process (tempered at exactly 900 degrees Celsius). The drop achieved by these springs is approximately 1.6". Cougar owners with B+G springs typically upgrade struts at the time of B+G springs install. Currently the B+G springs will fit only 99-00 Cougars.

Our specially designed progressive rate -25mm (-1") sport springs will minimize body "roll" while cornering and reduce "dive" under hard braking. Low and stiff enough for maximum handling benefit without sacrificing the overall comfort and load carrying capability of the vehicle. Progressive springs are designed to become stiffer (10-50%) as they are compressed allowing for a smooth transition between (very reasonable) straight line comfort and high performance
cornering. We can supply sport springs for both early (95-97) and late (98 >) 4 and 6 cylinder Contours. BAT sport springs are made from premium chrome silicone spring wire, cold wound to exacting standards, meeting all ISO/TUV standards.

Although the Eibach Pro-Kit improves your car's looks by reducing wheel gap (typically lowering the car by 1.2"), the biggest reason Eibach Pro-Kit springs owners installed this product is to lower the center of gravity for better handling. Roll, dive, and squat that normally occur during aggressive driving are substantially reduced by optimizing spring rates.
