FAQs

Why does my radiator coolant light come on, but the reservoir is filled to max?
  • Even if your temperature is still reading OK, sometimes the radiator coolant light will come on. This problem is an overly active sensor and you probably took too steep of a slope and the sensor tripped. To reset it, stop your car somewhere level and safe. Turn the vehicle off. Turn it back on. The light should go away. If it doesn not, check your radiator fluid level.

  • Where do I get the aftermarket adapter for a new faceplate and how much?
  • Any stereo shop will probably sell them. They go for about $16 from Best Buy and Circuit City.

  • I press my cabin trunk-release button, and the hatch won't open! Is it broken? The dealer keeps saying no!
  • Ensure that your doors are unlocked before you press the trunk-release button inside the cabin of the vehicle. The trunk does not seem to release (safety feature?) when the doors are locked. (Sorry, seen alot of people run into this problem.)

  • How do I reprogram my keyless entry?
  • Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN 4 times within six seconds, then turn it back to OFF. The alarm light will stay on to confirm programming mode. Press any button on the first transmitter. Alarm light will flash to confirm transmitter programmed. Press any button on second transmitter. (Up to four transmitter total possible) Turn ignition to ON. Alarm light will turn off to confirm end of programming mode. If you car didn't come with remote keyless entry, then I don't know if this will work. If it did, but you just didn't get a transmitter, then it should work.
